Summary. This concise document encapsulates highlights from both the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and the Area Plan;

Land and Resource Management Plan (Area Plan). Program managers, project leaders and the Area Supervisor will use this management tool as their decision-making guide for all future management actions over the next 10 to 15 years;

Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS). This two-volume document contains the analysis of the wide range of physical and biological characteristics of LBL, and describes the direct, indirect and cumulative effects of the four Alternatives on the landscape;

Appendices to the FEIS. This is Volume 2 of the FEIS, and contains the detailed reports and analyses that support the findings and conclusions in the FEIS;

Maps. These maps detail the various aspects of the landscape, the land allocations and the recreation and environmental education uses of LBL across all four Alternatives, including the Selected Alternative. (Please allow time for the PDF map files to open.)

Biological Assessment. The effects of the LBL Area Plan on federally listed endangered and threatened species and their habitats are evaluated, as required by the Endangered Species Act, as amended.

Public Concern Response. This report contains the public comments on the draft plan and EIS, along with the Forest Service's responses to the comments.
