Birders nationwide participate in this annual Audubon Society bird count, and you can be part of it here at LBL. We are looking for birders to help cover different sections of the count area. Less experienced birders are welcome to participate as well. We will meet at the Nature Station and organize into teams to include everyone. You can go out in the morning or spend the full day. Bring a sack lunch and meet back for our lunch-time round-up of the morning's sightings. Dress for the weather. $5. Fee goes to National Audubon Society. Meet at Nature Station. Bring binoculars, field guides, and lunch. For more information about participating the Bird Count, please call 270-924-2299.
