CAMPING RESERVATIONS ~ A certain number of campsites at Energy Lake, Hillman Ferry, Piney, and Wranglers campgrounds are availble for reservations. Click HERE to make a camping reservation online 24 hrs. a day. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance and no less than two days before arrival. Energy Lake, Wranglers Campgrounds, and several camping areas are open all year. Hillman Ferry and Piney Campgrounds are open March through November. Hillman Ferry and Energy Lake Campgrounds offer campsite reservations, while Wranglers and Piney Campgrounds offer campsite and primitive camping shelter (cabin) reservations.
LBL offers numerous camping opportunities for a variety of interests. From primitive to developed camping, you can choose to pitch a tent by the lakeshore, get comfortable in your RV, or relax near the trails after an exciting day of adventure. You can even bring your horse along! Our developed campgrounds offer amenities such as modern RV hookups, clean toilet/shower buildings, bike and kayak/canoe rentals (in season), beach and activity areas, and primitive camping shelters (cabins). Also, throughout LBL you will find boat ramps, picnic tables, fire rings, and various other amenities to suit your more secluded camping needs.
Camping Shelters (primitive cabins): (Piney: Mar 1-Nov 30 & Wranglers: Year-round): Shelters Include: Inside: One double bed & one bunk bed (Piney) and one double bed with either one or three bunk beds (Wranglers), ceiling fan/light, small table, folding chairs or benches, and electrical outlets. Outside: Porch, fire ring and picnic table. Restroom/shower buildings and outpost supply center are located in campground. See links to each campground below.
