At Land Between The Lakes, almost 100 miles of peaceful horse and wagon trails and abandoned logging roads meander along the lakeshore and through our rolling forest. And at trail's end you'll find a diversity of amenities for both horse and rider.
Wranglers Campground is the Southeast's premier horse camp. Here you'll find stalls, tack and farrier service, hitching and tethering posts, and watering troughs for your mounts; for riders we offer clean showers and restrooms, campsites, picnic tables, fire rings, and an activities court. Wrangler's Outpost is closed for the winter and will reopen in April.
Campers can take advantage of primitive or electric sites, long-term campsites and group campsites. Wranglers also offers Camping Shelters/Cabins for those wanting a less-rustic camping experience; they are ideal for families with children or those who want to camp but don't have the equipment. There are five small and seven large cabins. The one-room buildings have beds, ceiling fans, tables and chairs, electric outlets and a large porch, plus picnic tables and fire rings. Those staying in Camping Shelters use the campground restroom and shower facilities. Pets are not allowed to stay in Camping Shelters.

Our horse and wagon trails lead to some of the most scenic spots at LBL; for trail descriptions, be sure to check out our Horse Trails section. We also host some competitive trail riding events throughout the year, so be sure to check our calendar for special event information.
