If you love life on the water, you've come to the right place! Land Between The Lakes is surrounded by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, offering endless opportunities for water sports and activities. Whether you're interested in fishing, pleasure boating, water skiing, wake boarding, or just going for a swim, it's all close by. Swim at any one of our lake access areas located throughout LBL, canoe one of our quiet bays, enjoy a group outing on a pontoon, or fish the lakes with your personal boat. Boat ramps are located throughout LBL, as well as other public and private marinas nearby.

If you do not own a boat there are several rental options that will get you out on the water. Here at LBL you can rent a canoe at Woodlands Nature Station, while Energy Lake Campground offers canoe and kayak rentals. Our surrounding communities, nearby state resort parks or private marinas offer paddle boat, motor boat, water ski, and personal watercraft rentals. Sept. 2, 2010: Woodlands Nature Station Canoe Rentals temporarily halted due to drought conditions on Honker Lake. Canoes will no longer be rented there until lake conditions improve. Guide canoe trips will still take place on Lake Barkley as previously planned. Canoes may still be rented at Energy Lake Campground.
