The Land Between The Lakes Advisory Board was formed, after LBL was transferred to USDA Forest Service, to advise the Secretary of Agriculture on the means of promoting public participation for the land and resource management plan for the Recreation Area, and environmental education. Contracting at LBL
New contract projects between $10,000 and $25,000 are posted at the LBL Administration Office bulletin board in the front lobby. Any project over $25,000 is posted on www.fbo.gov . All vendors must be registered at www.ccr.gov prior to any contract being awarded.
The Forest Service employs a variety of procedures when purchasing and contracting.
