Our commitment is to provide a safe environment for our visitors. We want you to have a positive experience when recreating here. The rules and regulations, orders, and other important information posted in or near recreation sites, trail heads and area boundaries are for your safety and protection.
We ask that you take the time to read the information and abide by the regulations. In addition to the normal hazards you'd expect in an outdoor environment, please be aware that there are a few man-made hazards. One of the most common is vehicle break-ins.
LOCK ANY VALUABLES in your trunk. If the thief can't see items of value in plain sight, he or she may move on to a more profitable vehicle. And it's easier to break in through a window than a trunk to gain access to valuables.
DON'T LEAVE A NOTE on the vehicle telling when you will return. Give this information to neighbor or friend. If you'll be gone for a longer period of time, arrange for drop off and pickup rather than leaving the vehicle unattended.
